Description

The town of Zella-Mehlis is a hiking and winter sport area rich in tradition, surrounded by the wonderful mountains of the Thuringian Forest not far from the Rennsteig trail and the winter sport centre of Oberhof. The house enjoys an especially delightful setting on an open hillside plot with unobstructed views, yet is very centrally located between the districts of Zella and Mehlis.

That makes this holiday apartment an optimal base for many different activities: multiple hiking trails and cross-country ski trails, mountain bike trails, a saltwater aquarium, an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and several museums and exhibitions are within easy walking distance. You will also be in a very central location for access to public transport, so you can plan daytrips with the bus or train and can hop on during a hike if you decide you're ready to head back.

There is a large terrace directly in front of the holiday apartment with several seating options, loungers, a grill and a sun umbrella, all for your own private use. You can enjoy the sunshine all day long there and will find it a great place to relax. The terrace is also directly accessible from the living room. Another special feature is our corner nook (= your entry area), sheltered from the wind and partly covered, where you can enjoy sitting outside even in winter. From the terrace you have direct access to the generously sized garden with a Mediterranean flair, where you can use the 2 sunbathing lawns, the stream-fed pond, a bench swing and the gazebo.
