Description

Old School Cottage is a very well renovated cottage, warm and comfortable with attractive furnishing. The cottage is one of four terraced dwellings which formed part of the 'Old School' built in 1862. Only a few minutes walk down the lane is the River Tawe beside which is a lovely riverside park with an activity play area for children, a picnic and BBQ area. There are lovely walks along the river and some Trout and Salmon fishing is available locally. The 'Dan yr Ogof Show Caves' are just a few minutes drive north, next to Craig-y-Nos Castle and Country Park run by The National Parks. In Abercrave you will find some pubs and a hotel serving good food.

Brecon and the coastal city of Swansea are both 30 minutes drive, local shops and supermarkets are situated in nearby Ystradgynlais (5 minutes).
