Sauerland offers countless options at any time of year. From hiking and skiing to horseback riding and mountain biking - it's all possible here. Just 4 km away, the neighbouring town has an 18-hole golf course, a ski and toboggan lift and cross-country ski trails ranging from 4 to 18 km in length.

Bad Fredeburg (7 km away) has a Sauerland swimming pool with water slides and a sauna, a miniature golf course and a disc golf course. Winterberg, with its bobsleigh run and bike arena, is just 30 km away and is always worth an excursion.

Visit the Fort Fun amusement park, the Panorama Park Sauerland or the Karl May theatre festival in Elspe, or take a tour of one of the breweries. And those looking to sample some of the regions culinary specialities wont be disappointed either, with plenty of charming restaurants to discover.
