The resort is in a delightful setting in a long valley surrounded by mountains. The holiday house is all on one floor and has air-conditioning that also serves as heating. The interior is modern with much use of white and orange. There is an attractive landscaped garden with sun loungers, a shady pergola and tropical plants. There is plenty of privacy. Guests can use the facilities at the Mazarrón Country Club. These include swimming pools, tennis courts and the bar-restaurant. The beaches at Bolnuevo and Puerto de Mazarrón are just ten minutes away by car. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of sports activities and attractions. With several golf courses in the area, it is a golfer's paradise. Nature lovers can visit the Sierra Espuña Nature Reserve, 20km from the Mazzarón Country Resort. The fascinating Sierra de las Moreras protected area is also close by. The provincial capital of Murcia with its lively city centre and variety of shops and entertainments is 30km away. As is the old port city of Cartagena. The picturesque, small Spanish villages in the region are well worth a visit.
