You can also enjoy the free indoor pool. Bad Fredeburg has attracted visitors from far and wide for centuries. It is regarded as the oldest holiday resort in Sauerland. Unlike other places in the region, the village has been rebuilt in traditional style after the war. Thanks to the many half-timbered houses, it radiates an atmosphere of bygone days. You can enjoy delightful views from the Burgberg where the fort of the local rulers stood. The surrounding area is excellent for long walks. There are plenty of activities available in summer.
