Holiday apartments - Haus Keller Todtnauberg. Nestled in picturesque countryside with beautiful views, Todtnauberg lies at an altitude of 1,050 - 1,300m in a high valley below the Stübenwasen, where the Stübenbach brook has its source. The Stübenbach flows right past Haus Keller, our guesthouse, gradually swelling until it becomes the highest waterfall in Germany. Todtnauberg is a high-altitude health resort in the Black Forest; it has no through traffic and has been renowned since the 1930s for the quality of its air and its favourable climate. It was this climate and the exceptional peace and quiet that brought the world-famous philosopher Martin Heidegger to Todtnauberg; it was here that he wrote his best-known work “Sein und Zeit” (Being and Time).
