The Thuringian Forest is one of the most beautiful middle-sized mountain ranges in Germany. It is also the country's largest connected forest area. Youll find the municipality of Wutha-Farnroda here. It is not far from the town of Wartburg, between the Thuringian Forest and the Hörsel Mountains. The nearby Rennsteig is a 168 km walking route over the mountain ridge which runs alongside the Forest. It is Europe's most famous, traditional 'Höhenweg'. The holiday home is in the most beautiful part of Farnroda. It is on the ground floor of a house and has its own entrance. This protected area belongs to the original village centre of Farnroda. The comfortably furnished holiday home is 60 m2 and is suitable for four people. There is a covered terrace, a garden with garden furniture (on 20m from the house), a barbecue and play equipment. Thanks to its ideal location in the Thuringian Forest, you can enjoy many interesting excursions. The Stalactite Caves are 8 km away. The town of Wartburg is near Eisenach and is 10 km away. Lutherhaus in Eisenach is 10 km. There are numerous historic forts and castles within a radius of 5 km - 30 km. Erfurt, the capital city of the State of Thuringia, is 50 km from the holiday home.
