Historical house, which faces the ancient wing of Villa Buonamici. Was built in the thirteenth century as a fortress, being part of the towers to protect the valley and still retains its proud appearance of the tower. During the Renaissance it was transformed into elegant residence by Giovan Francesco Buonamici, ambassador in Madrid and friend of Galileo Galilei who stayed here as a guest. At the entrance of the house, on the portal stone is carved the coat of arms of the noble family. The house is located in the village Savignano, just above the stream that flows slowly through the village and up to the small Romanesque church. It 'been carefully restored and furnished with pieces of the ancient Tuscan tradition. Preserve a particular charm still having the old plaster and cooked originals. On the ceiling of the main hall you can admire the typical Tuscan bricks dated AD 1658.
