Description

The Mas de l'Olivier has two large terraces, one of which is covered, equipped with a barbecue, deck chairs and a large teak table, teak bench and chairs. The Mas de l'Olivier offers all the amenities that will make your stay a delight.
It is an independent house of 130m2.

It opens on the ground floor onto a vast volume of 45 m2 very convivial including an air-conditioned living room and a semi-open American kitchen.

The terraces are extended by a large private garden planted with lawn, cherry trees and lined with quince trees of around 1500 m2 with a panoramic view of the Luberon and the perched villages of Viens and St Martin de Castillon.

GROUND FLOOR :

The air-conditioned living room: it is lit by a huge bay window overlooking the terrace, the garden. It is equipped in particular with a large oak table, 2 comfortable sofas, an armchair and coffee tables, a fireplace (insert), a flat screen television and bookcases.

This very spacious room by its size and its height under the ceiling offers you a privileged space for relaxation with family or friends. The covered terrace shelters from the midday sun and offers a superb panorama of the sunset with a view of the Vaucluse, the Calavon valley and the perched village of Saint-Martin de Castillon.

The meals taken under the terrace are a real moment of contemplation of the beauty of the landscapes.

The American kitchen: open to the living room, it is fully equipped and will allow you to cook all the small local products that you will have found on the markets: refrigerator with freezer section, four-burner mixed hob and extractor hood, electric oven, washing machine silent crockery, microwave, electric coffee maker, electric kettle, pressure cooker, crockery and cutlery.

A parental suite: It is spacious and furnished with a large bed 160 cm X 200 cm (4* hotel quality), bedside tables and lamps and a closet-wardrobe. It has its own independent shower room (accessible with 1 step).
A separate toilet (with washbasin) and a laundry area (with washing machine and ironing equipment) open into the hallway (with 2 steps) which leads to the stairs.

FLOOR (air-conditioned):
A bedroom with 1 double bed 180 X 200 (4* hotel quality) that can be separated into 2 beds 90X200, a chest of drawers and bedside tables with bedside lamps,

A bedroom with 2 beds: equipped with two twin beds 90 cm X 200 cm, two bedside tables with bedside lamps and a chest of drawers. These attic rooms have roof windows and wall windows which give a pleasant view of the small perched village of Saint Martin-de-Castillon.

The mezzanine: a large attic space upstairs which can accommodate an office with a view of the living room.

The bathroom: very spacious, it is equipped with a double sink with a zellige splashback, a large walk-in shower and a toilet. Hair dryer and fan heater.

Directions

Take the direction Apt-Sisteron-Digne. Cross Apt. Drive about 15 km. Arrive at the sign Céreste 3 km. You will pass over a bridge that crosses the "Calavon" and see at about the same time a sign announcing the Alpes de Haute-Provence. To slow down. Drive another 50 meters then turn right at the signs: "LES FRANCES" and "LA VIGUIÈRE", Camping du "Bois de Sibourg".

At 200 meters, you continue straight without taking into account a right-angled intersection with a small path. You slow down, because at 100 meters, there is our entrance on the right, identifiable by a white stone marked "Bastidonne" in red, a sign "Gîte de France" and a green mailbox.

You must not enter the village of Céreste. Otherwise, turn around.
Arrival by the A 51 motorway or the N 96:
A 51: The exit is Manosque.
No. 96:

If you are coming from the north, head towards Forcalquier. If you are coming from the south, head towards Manosque. Take the direction of Apt. Cross Céreste. Go about 2.5 km: there is a big right turn announcing the end of the descent.

Slow down to prepare to turn left at the signs: "LES FRANCES", "LA VIGUIÈRE" and "Camping du bois de Sibourg"

At 200 meters, you continue straight without taking into account a right-angled intersection with a small path. You slow down, because at 100 meters, there is our entrance on the right, identifiable by a white stone marked "Bastidonne" in red, a few poplars and a green mailbox.

If you cross the Calavon bridge and arrive in Vaucluse, you must turn around.

Cot and high chair available on request. A tumble dryer is available on request in the laundry room of the property. Swimming pool fenced to standards of 8.5 m x 5.5 m, depth: 1.30 m. Heated and open from mid April to the end of October depending on the weather. The garden of the Bastide 1830 is not fenced, animals are not accepted.

Tourist tax 2023: €1.32/adult (over 18) and per night for mas classified 3 stars. It is entirely donated to the community of communes of the Pays d'Apt.
Deposit: 800 €/mas.

– €170 for Mas de L’Olivier (2 or 3 bedrooms) or La Bastide 1830 (2 bedrooms),
– €190 for the Bastide 1830 (3 or 4 bedrooms),

Household linen: The trunk of your car is already full, are you coming by train or plane? We will prepare the household linen for you: kitchen towels, sheets, 2 hand towels per person, shower mats and tablecloths. Household linen is provided at no extra charge. On your arrival, the beds will be made and the sheets changed once a week without supplement (beds to be redone by your care or beds made with supplement). On request, more frequent changes of sheets can be made: 20 €/bed

Baby equipment: To facilitate your stay with young children, we offer: cot + mattress + mattress pad, fitted sheet and towels, high chair, bath on request. The material is provided with supplement (35 €). (Remember to book it in advance).

Basic equipment: the farmhouses and the Bastide 1830 are very well equipped, to start you will find: salt, pepper, coffee filters n°4, vinegar, as well as various products (sponges, some dishwasher detergent tablets and washing machine, toilet paper is provided.).

Heating: During the heating period: 50 kWh included per night (which is generally sufficient), (billed at €0.23/kwh beyond). Wood: A small outbreak in the evening will be possible, the wood is provided to you with supplement.

The Bastide 1830 swimming pool is heated according to weather conditions at 24° from May 1st to September 30th. A supplement will be requested for a higher temperature or for the period April/October.

Electric car charging: a charging station for your electric vehicle is available during your stay, price €8 to €12/night depending on model.
